It was an amazing personal experience for me to be given the opportunity to meet and mingle with the  children of Pertubuhan Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ukhuwah Anak Yatim Miskin Daerah Sabak Bernam last Sunday. After a solid 2-hour ride past the scenic Sekinchan paddy fields and greeneries, my team and I arrived at the institution, to the welcoming smiles of the caretakers - Ustaz Sobri, Puan Sharifah and Puan Sapurah. Through my casual chat with them, I was overwhelmed and impressed with how independent and strong these boys and girls are. Despite having less privileges compared to many other kids and having lost their parent(s) at such a tender age, these brave boys and girls carry themselves confidently and with such high discipline. It reminds my team and I of how fortunate we are to be around the people we cherish and to always put gratitude as one of life's key values. Here are some pictures taken during the visit.     HRDF SESSION WITH 9 TRAINING PROVIDERS ASSOCIATION 17 March 2021, Kuala Lumpur - HRDF hosted another engagement session with 16 representatives representing 9 Training Provider Associations from around the country at Wisma HRDF, Kuala Lumpur yesterday, hosted by HRDF. The engagement session was a great open discussion where HRDF shared its current and upcoming initiatives for the benefit of the training industry. In addition, we discussed the challenges faced by trainers and training providers and the possible solutions. Among the initiatives discussed was the implementation of the 4% administration fee, expansion of act, Jana-preneur, E-Latih and many more upcoming initiatives. We believe these frequent engagements will help in ensuring a continuous collaboration that will result positively for the training and learning landscape of Malaysia. Do stay tune for more updates.
